1.1 Tutor Responsibilities

• Tutors are expected to conduct themselves professionally, maintain punctuality, and create a positive learning environment for clients.
• Tutors must maintain the confidentiality of any private information shared by students or their families.
• Tutors agree not to engage in any behavior that may harm the reputation of Gradelao.

1.2 Payment and Fees

• No Registration Fee: Tutors are not required to pay any registration fees for joining Gradelao.
• First-Month Fee Collection: Gradelao will collect the tutoring fee for the first month directly from the client.
• Commission Structure:
  • For tuitions lasting 3 months or more, tutors will be charged a 60% commission on the fee for the first month.
  • For tuitions of 2 months or less, the commission rate will vary between 25% to 30% for the first month.
• Payment Timeline: Payments are collected in advance, with fees paid on a rolling monthly basis.
• Dedication Requirement: Tutors must remain dedicated to each assigned gig. A lack of commitment may reduce the tutor’s priority for future assignments.

1.3 Code of Conduct

• Tutors must adhere to the highest ethical standards. Inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, or unauthorized contact with clients, is strictly prohibited.
• Any violation of the Code of Conduct may result in the termination of services without prior notice.

1.4 Cancellations and Refunds

• Tutors must provide [X hours] notice if they need to cancel or reschedule a session. Repeated cancellations may affect a tutor’s standing with Gradelao.
• Tutors acknowledge that clients may cancel sessions within the guidelines and will not hold Gradelao liable for any session missed due to client cancellations.

1.5 Liability Limitations

• Gradelao is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from interactions between tutors and clients. Tutors assume all responsibility for their professional conduct and agree to release Gradelao from any related liabilities.

2.1 Client Responsibilities

• Clients agree to maintain respectful and appropriate behavior toward tutors, including respecting scheduled session times and following the guidelines set by Gradelao.
• The client is responsible for ensuring the tutor has a safe and conducive learning environment.

2.2 Payment Terms

• Payments are to be made in full and as per the agreed-upon fee schedule. Clients agree to adhere to all payment terms to avoid service interruptions.
• Failure to make timely payments may result in service suspension or termination.

2.3 Cancellations and Refunds

• Clients may cancel a session by providing [X hours] notice. Gradelao reserves the right to withhold refunds for sessions canceled without sufficient notice.
• In case of repeated cancellations, Gradelao may restrict a client’s access to its tutoring services.

2.4 Limitations of Liability

• Gradelao’s role is to connect tutors and clients; it is not liable for the outcome of the tutoring sessions. Clients agree to hold Gradelao harmless for any issues arising from tutor-client interactions.
• Gradelao disclaims all liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that may occur during tutoring sessions.

3.1 Privacy Policy

• Gradelao respects the privacy of both tutors and clients. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information.

3.2 Changes to Terms

• Gradelao reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting, and it is the user’s responsibility to review the terms periodically.
